Marouf enjoys being a full-time physician, wife, and mother. She is fluent in English, Arabic, French, and medical Spanish.

Marouf began her career in ophthalmology as a full time clinical professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1989. Marouf is a board certified diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology, a fellow of the American Academic of Ophthalmology, and a member of the American Society of Retinal Specialists.ĭr.
